1. Working with Wales Business Insider to promote exporting to Welsh SMEs

In the new December/January issue of Wales Business Insider you’ll find a large 4 page exports feature that is packed with information we provided as part of our work with Business Wales to promote the concept of exporting to Welsh SMEs. The feature includes a full page advertorial featuring Corgi socks, a Q&A column featuring North Wales based luxury caravan manufacturer, Fifth Wheel Co., an export ‘checklist’, and profiles spotlighting successful Welsh exporters we have worked with, including Ruth Lee Dummies, who make rescue training manikins and Atlantic Service Company, who manufacture butchery equipment. Check it out here.

2. Bisley talks office pods in Office Equipment News

Are pods the future of office life? Robin Bayliss, Group Sales Director at office furniture manufacturer, Bisley, writes for Office Equipment News and discusses the rise and rise of the office pod.

He says: “Pods are not a new concept to modern office design and their use had been in the ascent pre-pandemic, but in a world coping with the ongoing pandemic, it’s likely that we’ll see their use continue to boom.”

Since the start of the pandemic Bisley have seen huge demand for their Vetrospace pods, Finnish designed modular booths that incorporate health technology, including anti-microbial lighting, anti-viral nano-coating and clean air ventilation. Read Robin’s article here.

3. Appreciating the wonderful wildlife of East Ireland and West Wales

The winter season makes us want nothing more than to stay huddled up indoors until the first signs of spring. But for outdoors lovers, there’s plenty of winter adventures to embark on. In the Telegraph’s latest article on ‘15 frosty outdoor activities perfect for a family adventure’, we secured coverage for our client Celtic Routes. The tourism partnership between counties in Ireland’s Ancient East and West Wales was featured in both print and online for the unique whale and seal watching activities visitors can enjoy along the stunning Hook Peninsula in Wexford, and the beautiful coastlines of Pembrokeshire. 4. Gardening in the colder months

It might be winter, but that doesn’t mean we need to stop thinking about our gardens. Over the last few months, we’ve been running digital ads and creating blog content encouraging smarter weed and pest management methods for our client Welsh Water and their PestSmart project.

We’ve worked on a number of blogs, including ones with experienced gardener Adam Jones,  The Amenity Forum and BBC Radio 2 gardening expert Terry Walton, who shares how weeds and pests behave season to season.

To promote the blogs and other video content, ads have been running on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and the Google Search network. In the last month and a half, the ads have generated over 32,000 clicks to the PestSmart website, which we created earlier this year.

5. Luxury caravan manufacturer reaps export success

As part of our work with Business Wales to promote the value of exporting to Welsh SMEs, we shared the export success story of Rhuallt-based Fifth Wheel Co. – a manufacturer of luxury fifth wheel caravans. Currently exporting to over 15 countries worldwide, the North Wales company has set its sights on global growth by expanding within Europe, targeting Asia as a new market, and doubling its overseas trade to account for 50% of turnover in the next two years.

We secured coverage of the story on Wales Business Insider, as the leading story in Insider’s newsletter, The Leader Live, Wales 247, North Wales Business News, News From Wales and key motor trade titles.
